We were only just saying just the other day
How it's really amazing how the days just seem to slip away
And it's right before my very own eyes
Oh there's some things that we'll never, we'll never know like

I keep losing track of the time. Months have passed since my last post and the truth is that I have been very busy with my work-life. I had a busy work schedule last year and I started an online course at the university and French lessons in the evenings. I couldn't find the time and energy to sit down and write about something. I was also fresh-out of ideas. After a long day, all I wanted to do was chill or spend time with my partner, my dog and my friends.
I remember when I was younger that time seemed endless. I wanted to be an adult and have a job, I wanted to be independent. But now, as I grow older, time speeds up and it goes faster and faster. I find hard to do many things in a day. Does it happen the same to you?
I want to be less busy this year, doing one thing at a time. I want to spend my afternoons doing something productive like going for walks with my dog, doing some yoga, reading a book or hiding my phone. My partner suggested to me to have a date night every Wednesday and I thought it was a great idea. It's the day of the week where we can do things together and I'm always looking forward to it! I think it's important to spend time with people who make you happy. At the end of the day what matters most is your health, satisfaction and happiness.
